The Reading Habits Tag
Tuesday, 3 June 2014 • Books, Tag
As a lover of all things books and fandom wise, I thought it would be fun to take part in the book tag that I saw featured on alzgalzz blog. I think this is a good and nosey way to see how other people read their books. If you love books too, complete this tag, I would love to take a look!
1) Do you have a certain place for reading at home?
I can pretty much read anywhere, anyplace, but the place I enjoy to read most is in my bedroom. There is nothing more peaceful than the quiet in your room where you can be comfy and relaxed. It's also great for entering new worlds too.
2) Bookmark or random piece of paper?
I used to use bookmarks, but I now own two bookmarks. One I recieved from the Hay On Wye book festival. It is just a paper bookmark with books on it. The second is a metal bookmark which has a charm of an angel and my birthstone colour as a heart. I prefer using my angel bookmark.
3) Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter or certain number of pages?
I sometimes, rarely ever stop just in the middle of a chapter. I always have to finish the chapter before I stop reading. Finishing half in between a paragraph or chapter is just confusing as you lose your place.
4) Do you eat or drink when reading?
I never eat whilst reading, but I do enjoy a hot cup of Caro (coffee substitute), or a cup of hot chocolate, which is hardly ever in my cupboard.
5) Do you watch TV or listen to music when reading?
If I really try to I can completely block out the sound of the television whilst reading, but it can still get distracting. Music is a definite NO for me as it is just to irritating. My book and I like the peace and quiet.
