May Favourites 2014

Saturday, 31 May 2014

Can you believe that we are June 1st TOMORROW? That is so crazy. 2014 is going as quick as 2013 did for me. May has been a rather good month, I have been having my lessons from the Elders at my church, I have confirmed that I will be getting baptised on the 7th of June, and I have previously won a competition. In my eyes, this has been a fab month.

1// I have been loving the Naked 3 palette by Urban Decay. This palette is perfect for summer as it has pink/natural tones in it. I wear this palette almost everyday, I love it that much. I have owned the palette for five months now and I am still no where near hitting the pans.

2// Daisy by Marc Jacobs is one of those perfumes where it just screams girly-ness, flowers, spring and summer. It is such a lovely perfume. The perfume itself is very light, and not too harsh that if you hugged someone they would have a sneezing fit.

3// The Garnier Micellar water is amazing. I bought it at the start of this month and between my mum and I using this make up remover it has hardly budged. You need about two cotton pads, not soaked and you are good. Fresh lovely skin that feels clean.

4// Barry M have recently brought out a new silk nail polish line. I have been intrigued by this line for a while and finally decided to pick the shade Blossom up two weeks ago. I just love the way this nail polish looks on your nails, and it is the loveliest colour for summer. This nail polish is definitely silky, I love the feel of the polish and the look it gives off. Definite silk.

5// Mac has been a long term love of mine, and recently I lost my favourite lipstick which was actually devastating for me, but I have recently fallen back in love with the first Mac lipstick I bought in the shade Speed Dial. This is a bright pop of pink and I have been wearing almost everyday as it just brightens up my everyday make up.

6// Back in October I was watching one of BreeLovesBeauty's YouTube fall videos and she mentioned the NYC Apple lip balms. Now, since then I have been looking for these lip balms as they are extremely pigmented and so, so cheap. It was only until two weeks ago I found them in my local Superdrug and found out that they stocked them. They are around £2.50, which is so cheap. These lipbalms do the job and are so pretty whilst on.

7// I have always been a fan of Soap and Glory, and I have heard a lot of good things about their make up range. For my birthday I received a S&G bath set which was from the whole Christmas deal where you buy the set for around £30 instead of £60 and inside was their plumping lipgloss. I love this lipgloss as it does was it says on the tin... well tube. The colour is a nude pink colour and perfect for everyday wear. The gloss is very shiny and makes your lips look so pretty when wearing it with or without lipstick.

What were your favourites this month? Have a great day!
